You may see it in restored condition.

Descanso Garden – Breakfast at the Dish – Early Rodder’ Cruise-In

La Cañada Flintridge, California

To start things off, we will drop by the Early Rodder’ Cruise-In near the junction of the

Glendale Freeway and the I-210. It is located in La Cañada at the United Artists

Theatre, 1919 Verdugo Blvd. It runs from 6:30AM to 8:30AM every Saturday.

They have a great mix of cars and it is different every week. If possible, RSVP to or 626/260-1090 so we will know to look for you. When the Cruise-in breaks up, we will cruise over to the Dish Restaurant on Foothill Blvd for a late breakfast. Following breakfast we will move on to Descanso Gardens for a leisurely tour of that special gardens that is constantly changing. What is in bloom in May? Roses, azaleas, camellias, irises, wildflowers and California natives. Admission is

Annual Meet and Chapter Elections

Deanna Roth has invited SCC to the Roth home for our Annual Meet and Chapter

Elections. As you may know, the deceased Fred Roth and Deanna were collectors of unusual American sports cars ( They also had several other unique collections. Deanna’s son is restoring a 1931 Essex boattail (quite rare). He also has a 1931 Essex coupe, which is a parts car for the boattail. He will be there to share info on this car. We will gather on Saturday June 3rd, around 11:30am for the Potluck Lunch followed by the business meeting. The potluck choices are:

1) Main dish, 2) Salad & rolls, 3) Dessert & relish.  The chapter will provide the beverages. Taneytown History Museum

The tour will be at 340 East Baltimore St., Taneytown MD 21787.  The museum is formerly the home of the Martin Koons Hudson Car dealership from early 1930s to 1957.  Hudsons will be displayed at the museum. Including a CBC Car which was originally sold from this dealership.  After kicking tires, telling stories and sharing our Hudsons with the public, we’ll lunch at a local restaurant. See you there!! 43rd Annual Meet of Southern IN/KY Chapter

Logansport, IN

The meet will be held at Rick and Susan Crawley’s home, 6062 Logansport Road (old 24), Logansport, IN, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.  We will have our annual business meeting and election of Officers for our Chapter.  Bring a dish to share, your Hudson or other collector car and lawn chairs. The Crawleys will provide the meat and drinks.  They will display all of their collector cars. Crawley’s home is located 3 miles east of Logansport on old 24 (now Logansport Road), 8 miles west of Peru. There is a big yard, plenty of parking, shade and trailer parking. Southern Indiana/Kentucky Chapter Fall Meet

Bloomington, Indiana

The meet will be held at the home of Marcia and Tim Lloyd, 3150 High Point Lane, Bloomington, IN  47401-9605.   Scenic Bloomington is home to Indiana University and is located 50 miles south of Indianapolis.  The fall colors will be beautiful. Come any time after 10:00AM EDST to Tim and Marcia's house for a noon lunch, tire kicking, visiting and a short business meeting. Tim and Marcia have a very large garage and ample parking.  Please bring your Hudson, a dish to share and your lawn chairs. The hosts will provide drinks and barbequed pork and chicken.  Lunch will be served at 12 noon.  This year’s meet will again coincide with the Lloyd’s neighbors Ed and Mary Dathe’s Model A Meet, so join us as the entire neighborhood will be full of collector cars!

Southern Indiana/Kentucky Chapter’s Holiday Party

The holiday party begins at 6:00 PM at the Half Moon Restaurant and Brewery, 4051 S.
